[quilting in the campsite]

My husband thought I was crazy, the kids didn't even bat an eye. When we headed out for three weeks of camping this summer *of course* I took a 3drawer, 3foot wide storage unit of fabric, plus another bin of fabric, plus my sewing machine and supplies! Of course. Wouldn't you if the forecast was for 2.5 weeks of rain?! [wink] That's our trailer in the back, the Aljo. With six people and Momma's little sewing table it was a cozy fit!

I am super pleased with how I figured out to match the seams and corners on this one! This was a FQ bundle from a dear friend for my birthday last February. Hooray me! I did it! This is my fifth sewn top and now I need to figure out how to sandwich and back those babies and maybe even try some hand quilting!

Fabric: Breakfast at Tiffany's
Size: 3.5'x5.5'

Sounds relaxing to me! Did you take an iron along too?

Gorgeous! I think making the quilt tops is the most fun part of the process personally.

So far, I've had a bit better luck with spray basting than using the pins - but I don't think I used enough pins....... I still haven't made the perfect quilt with no puckers...... everyone needs goals right? ;)

Congrats on another wonderful quilt top finish! It sounds as if you were smart to take along your quilting with so much rain forcast.
